Safety in Motion utilized our motion capture to record precise movements for proper physical movements to reduce risk of stress and strains on the body. Actions ranged from lifting, pulling, pushing, and balance.
Actors with professional safety training were able to demonstrate their techniques live in mo-cap suits. Data was re-processed within the Xsens software to smooth any jitters or intersecting geometry.
From there, we import the FBX data into Maya and applied it to multiple rigs to clean up animation keyframes based on body proportions. The clean up process includes reducing keys, client feedback, and timing refinements.
Once animation was completed, we imported into the Unreal Engine with materials to light and export. Final deliverables included 48 training videos totalling 30 minutes, 8 characters, 68 props, and 5 multi-language versions.
