In collaboration with ODOT and Portland’s Gard Agency, we created an animation to educate the public about Oregon's updated bicycle passing law. This law, revised in 2023, clarifies that drivers can cross the centerline to pass cyclists safely and must slow down while doing so. Our goal was to make this new regulation clear and memorable.

We focused on thoughtful design and animation. Using clean lines, calming colors, and smooth transitions - complete with a “Be Patient & Hold Back” 'patch'. We chose a relaxing and approachable style, intended to encourage respectful behavior on the roads.
