As part of a series of corporate animated videos Deep Sky and Etage produced for Hexagon, ‘Shaping Smart Change’ was the opener for the 2016 HxGN conference and essentially a purpose statement video for the Hexagon brand.

We teamed up with our friends over at Etage once again to produce another brand-building corporate video for Hexagon’s Shaping Smart Change campaign, this time for their Power Process and Marine (PPM) division.
Hexagon | Safety & Infrastructure
Deep Sky worked closely with étage to produce a series of animated corporate videos for Hexagon promoting their individual departments and their unique missions within the company umbrella. Hexagon’s branding style is very specific, so a lot of time went into distinguishing the overall look and flow of the series. The challenge was taking ideas that were very complex and distilling them into simplified visuals that elegantly flowed with a poetic script.

We had the pleasure working with our friends at R/West on three new Oregon State Lottery spots for Saint Patrick’s day. It was a blast working on set and tackling these hilarious visual effects shots. Check out how we did it below.
Oregon State Lottery | Jackpot Trio
Early in pre-production, we provided pre-visualization of a CGI RV and yacht. During the film shoot we photographed 360 HDRIs for lighting reflections. In post, are tasked were much more difficult than it would seem – it involved a complex camera track with no tracking markers, removing objects, replacing the license plate, rotoscoping, changing the road solid yellow lines to dashed line and finally animating, lighting and compositing the CGI trailer and yacht.
HxGN | SMART Build
Hexagon recently launched HxGN SMART Build, an enterprise construction management software solution designed to alleviate cost overruns and delays. Our task was to produce their first video revealing the software and inviting intrigue about the product.
Gaylord Industries | EL Series Hoods
Working closely with Gaylord Industries, we produced a product visualization video for the EL Series Hoods. Tasks included kitchen design, modeling, lighting, water simulation, air simulation, compositing, editing, and audio.
Suburban Auto | Commercial VFX
Recently we worked with R/West on the motion graphics and visual effects for Suburban’s new spots. We had a blast working on set and coming up with the spot’s visual look and effects. R/West agency wrote, filmed and produced editorial – our task was design, asset creation, transition concepts, motion graphics and compositing.
SmartSens | Air Purifier
We collaborated with For Life Products to model and animate their SmartSens Air Purifier. The 4k visualization was broadcasted live during QVC.
FLIR | Lorex Retail Video
We collaborated with our friends at R/West on this retail spot. Tasks included motion design, 3D product rendering, and transition edits.
